The Town of Little Elm Special Events & Tourism Department has made the difficult decision to cancel A Nightmare Over Little Elm Park: The Trilogy, scheduled for Friday, October 30, 2026, due to forecasted weather conditions. With rain and wind in the forecast, our out-of-state drone and fireworks partners have determined that conditions are unlikely to allow their shows to proceed safely. While the Town initially considered moving forward with the remaining activities and continuing to monitor the weather, we ultimately decided that canceling early was the most responsible decision.
Many of our event vendors are local businesses and family-owned food trucks that would begin purchasing supplies and preparing for the event in the coming days. We wanted to provide as much advance notice as possible to help prevent unnecessary financial losses for these businesses.
All ticket holders will receive a full refund within three to five business days. No action is required. We are incredibly disappointed, as Nightmare Over Little Elm Park is one of our favorite events of the year. We know how much our community looks forward to this celebration, and we are just as sad that we won't get to experience The Trilogy together. We sincerely apologize for the disappointment and appreciate the understanding and continued support of our residents, visitors, vendors, and event partners.
Thank you for being part of what makes these events so special. We look forward to celebrating with you again soon!
