On Saturday, October 18 from 6–9:30 p.m., Little Elm Park (701 W Eldorado Pkwy) transforms into a haunted lakeside filled with eerie surprises, dazzling lights, and spine-chilling fun. After last year’s Halloween Spectacular Drone and Fireworks show, something was awakened in Little Elm Park… The veil between the spirit world and reality has shifted, and the Little Elm Paranormal Society has been investigating strange occurrences ever since. This year, prepare for the ultimate encounter with the unknown!

Gates Open

Step inside if you dare… Vendors, food trucks, hayrides, bounce houses will be waiting. Costumes encouraged!

Trick-or-Treating & Hayrides

Wander the park trails, meet vendors, and hop on hayrides as the night grows darker. Sweet treats await around every corner…

 

6:30- 8PM

Hot Air Balloon Glow

Marvel at tethered hot air balloons lighting up the night sky! They won’t fly but make for hauntingly perfect photos and glowing amusement. ✨

 

7PM

LE Freak in Concert

Disco meets fright night! Get ready to dance to the legendary sounds of LE Freak as they take the stage under the stars.

 

Fire Truck Pumpkin Drop

Watch a giant pumpkin filled with candy crash from the top of a fire truck ladder! ? First come, first serve—candy will be handed out in age groups to keep things fun and fair.

 

8 PM

Second Fire Truck Pumpkin Drop

Drone & Fireworks Spooktacular

The grand finale! The sky comes alive with glowing drones and booming fireworks in a breathtaking Halloween show.

Nightmare Over Little Elm Park: The Sequel – The LEPS team takes the stage with their advanced ghost-detecting equipment, attempting to reach spirits from the spirit world. Watch as drones light up the night and the sky comes alive with haunted visuals before the fireworks finale.

Frequently asked questions

What time do gates open and close?

Gates open at 6:00 p.m. sharp and close at 9:30 p.m. Please note there is no re-entry once you leave.

 

How much are tickets and parking?

 Until October 16, kids 12 and under get in FREE, and general admission (ages 13+) is $20.

Starting October 17-18, tickets can be purchased online or at the gate:

Ages 2 and under  FREE
Ages 4-12  $5
Ages 13+ $25

Parking is $10. Tickets to the event are available online on Eventbrite and at the gate. Parking will be on-site for purchase.

 

 

Are costumes required?

Costumes are encouraged (and make the night extra fun!) but not required. Please, no realistic weapons or full-face masks for adults.

 

What is the Pumpkin Drop?

At 7:00 p.m., a giant pumpkin filled with candy will be dropped from a fire truck ladder! Candy is first come, first serve and will be given out by age groups for fairness.

 

Can I bring my pet?

For safety, pets are not allowed, except for service animals. Fireworks can be stressful for animals, so we encourage leaving furry friends at home.

 

What happens if it rains?

The event is rain or shine! Be sure to dress for the weather and prepare for spooky fun no matter what. 

 

What is the Nightmare Over Little Elm Park?

  • It’s the chilling centerpiece of our Halloween Spectacular. The Little Elm Paranormal Society will attempt to communicate with spirits using drones, lights, and sound, combined with the grand Drone & Fireworks finale. Expect eerie surprises and spine-tingling moments!
